Tomintoul Distillery

Whilst this distillery doesn’t actively offer tours, they are available to book by contacting the Distillery Manager directly at RFleming@tomintouldistillery.co.uk. Days and times are limited to Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am or 2pm. it’s well worth trying some of the different ages in the local pub as this is an absolutely superb Speyside Malt. The distillery was built in 1964 – only after they’d found the perfect water source – the Ballantruan Spring. The natural and unspoiled environment enhances this wonderful ‘gentle dram’.

Cragganmore Distillery

Aberlour Distillery

Obar Lobhair or Aberlour means ‘the mouth of the chattering burn’. A beautiful location partnered with stunning spring water creates a multi layered single malt with plenty of character. Definitely one to try.
